The opening of a new takeaway pizza store in the Lincolnshire town of Boston is set to create around 35 new jobs within the outlet. The branch of Domino’s Pizza, to be located at Skirbeck Road, Unit 2, will no doubt be met with enthusiasm by students in the area – both as a source of meals and as a potential supplier of part-time work.
Since its arrival on the scene, Domino’s has become one of the most successful takeaway franchises in the world, particularly popular with students, partly due to its distinctive, glossy flyer menus with attractive food photography showcasing its range of products. A food photographer can make a huge difference to the success of any food outlet.
The Boston outlet will be employing people to deliver these menu flyers door to door, in addition to a range of other full and part time jobs – including trainee pizza makers, pizza delivery people, trainee managers and customer service reps. The franchisee for the Boston store, Sajid Ali said:
“First and foremost we’ll be looking for people who can deliver great customer service and demonstrate strong teamwork skills, as well as boundless enthusiasm.”
While the available jobs at the store are likely to be of particular interest to students in the local area, especially with the financial pressures of increased student loan repayments, Ali emphasised that the store would be seeking applicants from all areas of the local community, based on ability and irrespective of age. Furthermore all those employed will be offered full training in the area relevant to their job.
